Day 2 at TaipeiOk finally blogging on day 2..
Day 2, we went to buy the taiwanese version Ez-link card, which was called the "悠游卡", it looks like this:
I realised that the train route looks similar to Singapore one... gt green, red, blue and brown line.. it is very accessible and per trip cost ard NT15-40... depending on the distance... below are some pictures of the train station which is known as 捷运:
Now i know why ppl in the train is so quiet... cos they were taught to do so... look at this notice in the train:
I realised also that no matter how packed is the train, this dark blue seats are always empty cos it is meant for the needy ppl like elders, pregnant woman and etc..
We took the train to 淡水 to walk ard and also try the local food over there... the scenery was quite nice... i dun think singapore got so high hills...lol

Then we went to 士林 station... was looking for tat warner movie theatre.. but could not find it in the end... so only took pictures of the traffic in Taipei..
Oh ya in this pic, you see the students wearing their uniform.. think looks quite cool man... in their so called windbreaker...lol
Afterwhich we went to 士林夜市 at 剑潭 station.. tat 炸鸡排 is really damn huge... then they gave me the chicken, its quite heavy man... lol.. we also tried the 棺材板... it is actually a huge loaf of bread like those toast box kinda... they actually open it to stuff the shredded chicken in and added some starchy sauce in it... taste quite good also... cos they fried the bread b4 adding the ingredients... SO SO SORRY that there are no pictures... cos i was busy eating... forgot to take pictures of it.. >.<
There are also dishes like 大肠包小肠,大包包小包 and 青蛙下蛋... some interesting names.. but very unhealthy food...lol... I realised Taiwan have lotsa deep fried food which my bf likes a lot... think i like the 起司猪排 best... its also deep fried.. but when u bite on it, there is ham in the middle followed by melt cheese followed by pork meat then dough flour... shiok man... but of cos... not too much of it man.. very sinful... my bf keep eating tat roadside stall's grilled chicken thigh... he damn ironical... when he 1st reach taiwan, i told him i wan to eat roadside stalls... he dun allow.. he say damn unhygenic... after lotsa persuasion.. he finally decide to try and now keep eating the roadside stalls' food... -_-"
